In this project, I was mostly in charge of the level design, the sound design, and most of the visual aspects of the game. I also coded some of the lighter game mechanics. The game jam theme was: "Pay the Price". We took it quite literally. In this game, you always lose your health but gain some for killing enemies. This game is essentially a dance between dodging enemy attacks, and not missing your shots.

I designed most of the map's base layout. I first drew some sketches of the layouts in photoshop. Then, I grey-boxed the zones in unreal engine, to test the sizes and the pacing of the maps. It took many iterations, but ultimately we managed to get a decent map size and good pacing for the style of the game.
