


This project was a 3 man team, and we're quite proud of what we managed to do in such a short amount of time. I was in charge of the art direction, half the level design (first level), most of the set dressing, the UI and main menu, and the sound design and the music. Let's just say we did not sleep much in those 2 days.
In this puzzle game, you can exit your body and enter a spirit form. In spirit form, you can float and grab the interactable cubes to help you progress through the levels.

After designing the main mechanics, I created some custom meshes for the level design. I created 6 different variations, with random colors from our color pallet.


Here's how it looks once the meshes were placed in the level.

After creating the layout, I played with the lightning and added some volumetric fog for those nice light rays. I also added some particles and added floating cubes in the sky.
Here is the final look of the scene. For the minimalist style and the short time, I'm pretty happy with the result.

The second level was made by my partner Françis Beaudry, and he used the same meshes but with a different color pallet.

Ultimately, we wanted to create a third and final level for our game, but we couldn't finish it in time. But all in all, we are super proud of our game in such a short amount of time, and I learned a lot from it!
