
METROID PRIME FAN GAME

As this is still in very early development, most of the scene is still "grey boxed", but in due time this will change.


With most of the core mechanics now done, I will now work on finishing the visuals of the level and also start with the AIs. In the future, I plan on doing my custom mechanics and custom Level Design. This is a project I hold very close to my heart, so expect more development very shortly!
I found a rigged model of Samus online. I then removed all the models except for the arms. I animated directly into the game engine multiple animations. Following that, I recently added the morph ball into the game, and it feels great.
The biggest challenge was the transition between the first-person camera and the ball, and vice-versa.


I finally added the UI, and it's crazy how it adds so much to the game. I also added a little bit of movement depending on the camera axis, just for a little more realism.
